to be held in St. Petersburg

The 10th Anniversary Roads. Bridges. Tunnels International Exhibition will take place on September 23-25, 2009 at Mikhailovsky Manege in St. Petersburg, Russia. The event will be organized under the auspices of the St. Petersburg Committee for Territorial Improvement and Road Facilities, Leningrad Oblast Committee for Road Facilities and Transport, the Dormost Association and International Transport Academy.

The project was established in 1998 and since then has gained recognition of the industry professionals: according to the experts, today the Exhibition is one of the largest events of the North-Western Federal District.

Exhibition display features state-of-the-art novelties of machinery and technologies, modern materials and equipment. The Exhibition provides the exhibitors with an opportunity to showcase their developments in the field of machine-building industry, road and bridge engineering and construction, tunnel industry, research and practice studies, software and other related industries.

From year to year the number of exhibitors increases, here is a surge of interest to the exhibition among both Russian and foreign companies. Over 160 enterprises and companies from various Russian regions, namely: from St. Petersburg and Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Saratov, Yekaterinburg, Tula, Cheboksary, Petrozavodsk, Pereslavl-Zalesskiy, Kurgan, etc. as well as companies from Great Britain, Korea, Canada plan to take part in the event in 2009. Among exhibitors there are manufacturers and suppliers of road engineering and construction materials for highways, bridges and tunnels, large developers and leading road building companies.

The outstanding feature of the Exhibition is its unique outdoor venue which presents an open-air exposition of special machines in the heart of the city (Manege Square). Loading machines, excavators, hydraulic hammers and other Russian and foreign machinery will be displayed at the outdoor exposition.

It is planned to organize a rich business program within the framework of the Exhibition. The Exhibition will traditionally feature a number of topical conferences and seminars as well as round table discussions. Experts of road and transportation industries will be provided with a unique opportunity to discuss crucial issues and primary tasks of their business activities.
