Specialized Exhibition of Transport Construction and
Infrastructure TransCon 2010 will be held with the support of the Ministry
of Transportation of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Government
and the International Transport Academy on March 17-19, 2010.
Traditionally the whole range of materials, equipment, technologies and
services providing the full circle of developing, building and reconstructing,
repairing and maintaining transport facilities will be presented to the
industry experts in Moscow at the TransCon Exhibition 2010.
Covering all types and stages of transport infrastructure maintenance
the Exhibition will demonstrate ad-vanced achievements in the domains
of mechanical engineering, roads, bridges, ports and airports design and
construction, science prospecting, software, traffic control, security
and other related spheres.
The Exhibition is divided into 3 main sections conditionally. Roads and
Bridges section is dedicated to issues of design and construction of car
roads, bridges and over-bridges as well as motorway service, pub-lic transport
maintenance and traffic management. Ports and Terminals section reflects
the state of affairs in the spheres of river and sea ports and terminals
infrastructure maintenance, hydraulic facilities and ferries. Design,
construction, equipment and maintenance of air fields and airports, including
service technologies for passengers and maintenance technologies for freight
transportation and airplanes are demonstrated in Airports section.
The previous TransCon Exhibition 2009 was best remembered for remarkable
stands of the companies working in the business of road building machinery
and equipment production, hydraulic facilities con-struction, road-building
services, software and complex solutions development for industrial automation,
design and production of road-building metal constructions, etc.. The
central place of the previous Exhibi-tion was taken by the stand of the
Moscow City Government demonstrating advanced projects for the Russian
capital transport infrastructure development prepared by the Department
for Roads, Bridges and Engineering Construction. The Exhibition 2009 was
participated by over 3000 transport experts.
The 6th International Exhibition for Railway Equipment, Systems and Services
EXPORAIL and the 3rd International Tunneling Exhibition on Designing,
Construction and Maintenance INTERtunnel will be held concurrently with
the TransCon Exhibition 2010.
Extended Business Program will also feature Transport Congress 2010. Leading
experts of federal admini-stration agencies and representatives of the
industry key enterprises, associations and unions are invited to participate
in the Congress.
Igor Levitin in his address to the participants of the events 2009 said
`Holding the complex of transport exhibitions and Transport Congress 2009
will give one more opportunity to the representatives of gov-ernmental
institutions, scientific organisations, heads and leading experts of branch
enterprises of the Rus-sian Federation and foreign countries to analise
and assess the industry market conditions, exchange ex-perience, discuss
pressing problems and future prospects. All the events held within the
framework of the TransCon Exhibition are worth supporting and promoting
as they contribute both to develop Russian transport industry and to enhance
