For 12 years already, the Khabarovsk International Fair, JSC has been running the timber processing complex efficiency exhibition. For this time, the exhibition project has grown into a large-scale event, and many enterprises and companies became its permanent and active participants. In 2007, the Khabarovsk International Fair, JSC and RESTEC exhibition company held their first joint exhibition project Tekhnodrev Far East 2007. With positive results achieved by this premier exhibition, one can expect enormous interest of Russian and foreign experts and involvement of new participants. This union brought the exhibition status to a higher level.

Year after year, the project TEKHNODREV Ural. Volga becomes larger, more informative and interesting in presenting the latest achievements and developments in timber processing complex. Companies all over Russia as well as of countries of near and far abroad take part in the exhibition. We are much pleased that each year their number grows. Holding such events is a useful initiative both for the related industry and for the whole business society. The Krasnoyarsk Fair Exhibition Company gained much experience in forest industry exhibitions. For 8 years we had been holding the exhibition Forest. Woodworking: equipment and products. It's obvious that this topic of the exhibition is a live issue for our region: Krasnoyarsk Territory shares 14.5% of the Russian territory covered by forests.

Striving to bring the exhibition to a new qualitative level and make it the largest forest forum in the Siberian Federal district, the Krasnoyarsk Fair Exhibition Company decided to enter the TEKHNODREV all-Russian network project of forest industry exhibitions in 2007. As the result of our joint efforts with the RESTEC Exhibition Company, the Tekhnodrev Sibir 2007 exhibition was held on September 11-14, 2007. The exhibition results confirmed that we are on the right way, and demonstrated its great development prospects.

We think that participation of companies of the industry in the Tekhnodrev Sibir 2008 exhibition will be fruitful and cost-effective.
