"GOLDEN CUTTER" Award

The 7th Contest for the GOLDEN CUTTER Award will be held within the framework of the TEKHNODREV International Specialised Exhibitions. Annual contest is the recognition of achievements of companies presenting their products and services on the market of woodworking and furniture industries.

GOLDEN CUTTER Award was founded with the support of:

The Jury

The jury is headed by V.I. Onegin, Doctor of Engineering Science, Rector of St.Petersburg State Forestry Academy, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The jury consists of St.Petersburg State Forestry Academy's teaching staff, leading experts in the sphere of equipment and instruments for Furniture and Woodworking industry. The Award Ceremony will be held on October, 9, 2008.

The reward is given for the best products and services in 6 nominations according to the highly qualified advisory committee's decision.

• Achievements in the domain of machinery and technologies of sawing production
• Achievements in the domain of woodworking machinery and technologies woodworking
• Achievements in the domain of machinery and technologies for furniture production
• Achievements in the domain of wood-cutting tools
• A special contribution of a domestic producer to the development of woodworking industry in Russia
• Success in the development and appliance of ecologically-friendly technologies
  

Enterprises developing technologies as well as enterprises that produce equipment, components and technologies for woodworking, dealers and distributors of trademarks as well as organisations that contribute to the development of Russian Woodworking Industry can compete for the Award.
