The first results of the Nuclear Industry 2009 Exhibition
have been resumed
The 15th International Specialised Exhibition Nuclear Industry was successfully
finished on September 30, in St. Petersburg.
The Exhibition was organized with the support of State Atomic Energy
Corporation ROSATOM, Non-state Educational Establishment Institute of
Continuing Professional Education ATOMPROF and St. Petersburg Government.
Organizers: RESTEC® Exhibition Company (St. Petersburg) and
Nuclear Information and Exhibition Center (JSC Atomexpo) (Moscow).
Sponsors: TITAN 2 Holding Company and JSC Woltag.
Among honorary guests, the Exhibition was visited by Mr. Petr
Shchedrovitskiy Deputy Director General of the State Atomic
Energy Corporation ROSATOM; Mr. Konstantine Zaitsev Deputy
Chairman of the RF State Duma's Energy Committee; Mr. Serguei Dyakov
Deputy Director of the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety,
Organisation of Licensing and Authorising Activity of ROSATOM Corporation;
Mr. Gennadiy Novikov Deputy General Research Director, Emerging
Center of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Atomic Energy; Mr.
Vladimir Rozhkov Rector Non-state Educational Establishment
Institute of Continuing Professional Education ATOMPROF; Mr. Grigoriy

Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Sub Commission for

The participants' stand have demonstrated advanced Russian technologies
in the domain of nuclear power mechanical engineering, atomic power stations'
design and construction, engineering, services, sensors, equipment, control
and security systems.
The Exhibition was participated by over 60 leading companies of the
industry. The joint stand of ROSATOM State Corporation featured 12
enterprises, including permanent participants of the Event All-Russian
Research and Development Institute of Exploitation of Atomic Power Stations,
ATOMSPECTRANS, Mining and Chemical Combine, Industrial Association MAYAK,
TVEL Corporation, OJSC SverdNIIhimmash, JSC Saint Petersburg Research
and Design Institute ATOMENERGOPROEKT (JSC SPAEP). OJSC ENERGOATOM Concern,
TITAN 2 Holding Company, OJSC Pyatigorsk Plant IMPULS, two departments
of Siberian Chemical Combine reactor production and Repair and
Machinery Works, Chepetsky Mechanical Plant, Economic Financial Energy
Construction Corporation and other enterprises of Moscow, St. Petersburg,
Krasnoyarsk Krai, Tomsk and Khabarovsk regions and other Russian regions
have also demonstrated their products and services.
It has become a good tradition to hold the Exhibition within the framework
of International Nuclear Forum. For the three days of the Forum its delegates
have had an opportunity to visit the Exhibition without any fee, and the
Exhibition exponents could participate in discussions on safe use of atomic
power, nuclear and radiation safety, use of radioactive materials as well
as spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste.
In 2009 the Nuclear Industry Exhibition was held for the first time
within the framework of the 2nd Innovation Forum which was participated
by over 12,000 specialists from 29 countries and 50 Russian regions.
There is no doubt that this fact proves high professional level of the
Event and the great interest showed by society.
In the participants' opinion,
during the many years history the Nuclear Industry Exhibition has turned
into a most important link in the process of popularization of achievements
of the Russian nuclear industry complex, and its role in consolidation
of business relations within the nuclear society of Russia, the CIS countries
and the Far East grows every year.
