XV Anniversary International Specialized Exhibition Power Industry and Electrical Engineering offered all treasures of electrical products

XV Anniversary International Specialized Exhibition Power Industry and Electrical Engineering completed its work in Saint Petersburg on May 16.

For its longstanding history, the Exhibition has become the biggest Russian project of this kind, organized by two exhibition market leaders – the RESTECT Exhibition Company and Lenexpo OAO.

The Exhibition was organized with the support of: Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry for Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation, Government of St. Petersburg, Government of Leningrad Oblast, Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Legislative Assembly of Leningrad Oblast, Regional Administration of the Federal Agency of Energy in the North-Western Federal District, Union of Energy Workers of the North-West of Russia, Gas Club.

RussCom IT Systems, an official auditor of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs audited and confirmed all statistics of the Power Industry and Electrical Engineering Exhibition in 2008. Statistics analysis showed that over 400 companies participated in the Exhibition and displayed a full range of power-generating and electrical equipment, as well as tool engineering products, cable and wiring production, high and low-voltage equipment, electrical installation goods, systems and devices for electro- and heat energy control, software.

During the exhibition Russia was represented by companies-manufacturers: ABB Moscabel, the Vzlet company, Kavkazcable, Kamcable, Permspetscable, Rybinskiy cable plant, Sevcable Holding, Serpuhovskiy Condensate Plant KVAR, Korenevskiy Plant of low-voltage devices, NPF Logic, Nevskiy Plant "Electroschit", Niiefa-Energo, New Era, NTC Drive Equipment, SKB of Electrotechnical Tool Engineering (Irkutsk), Kashinskiy zavod electroapparatury, trade companies: the Baltic Cable company, BCC, Quadro Impex, RospolElectro, ETM, Klinkmann SPb, Legrand, Mitsar and others.

Neither foreign companies fall behind the anniversary exhibition. 54 foreign companies from 13 countries showcased at the exhibition. Those were the companies from: Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Italy, China, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Finland and Switzerland. According to the foreign participants, the Power Industry and Electrical Engineering Exhibition is a nice area for meeting with Russian business partners, setting new links and exchanging scientific and technical ideas.

For 15 years of history the Exhibition has become the leading branch event held in Russia and CIS. The Exhibition has become a traditional place for meeting and business contacts exchange between manufacturers and energy workers.
Comprehensive business program is one of the forces behind the exhibition attraction. It included:

workshop: Modern safety requirements to energy supply to consumers in the Russian Federation ,

presentations: Electroapparat Trade House, Ltd. Kursk, Ardatovsky Lightning Engineering Plant, YuNG-Vilnius, Innovative Center for Power Industry, Compels Saint Petersburg, Alliance-Group, Dielectric Cabling Systems, Promcomplect, Siemens A&D TIP, Sevcable, Mitsar, DKC and other events.

The Exhibition attracted considerable public attention. 12,000 energy experts, builders, mechanic engineers, scientific workers from over 180 Russian cities and 16 foreign countries took part in the Exhibition. Its work was covered by 60 mass media.
