An International exhibition of production, processing and application of plastic and rubbers "PLASTEC" was successfully held on the 13th April at the "Lenexpo" Fairgrounds in Gavan in St.Petersburg.

For the first time the participants could see the following machines in the acting region: thermoplasts pressure casting machines, PET-preform complex lines, plastic wastes granulation production lines, automatic molding machines, auxiliary equipment, press-forms, halocarbons, acids, fluorocarbon polymers, material loading, dozing and transport systems, dryers, grinding-mills, transporters, soft silos. This means that all the all the spectrum of production – raw materials-equipment-final product – was showcased at the exhibition.

The following companies showcased their production at the exhibition: TRANSTECH-CAPPADONA Ltd, BM Biraghi S.p.A, Polytechnika Ltd, KCKK Polymer Plant Ltd, Tverstekloplastic JSC, Vector-Plast Co., Dac-M, Arburg GmbH + Co KG, Chem-Trend GmbH, Mold-Masters Europa GmbH, Dega , ProMould, Shanghai Yanbian Kangrum Economic and Trade Co., Ensinger Gmbh and many others.

In total, over 50 companies from Russia, Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, Germany, China and Korea took part at the exhibition.

The participants signed contracts on equipment delivery to the North-West region during the exhibition.

According to the registration data, over 2105 visitors-specialists from all the regions of Russia, CIS-countries (Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus), Lithuania, Latvia, China, Germany and Korea, have visited the exhibition.

This year the TRANSTECH-CAPPADONA company has presented its jubilee collection of the cast machines – ARBURG GOLDEN EDITION to the North-West market. The company also held a seminar, dedicated to the multi-component casting, sandwich-casting, interval casting, gas filling casting, thermoactive plastic and liquid silicone processing.

Over 60 specialists involved in the production of polymeric goods made using the pressure casting technology, took part in the seminar, which gained a lot of attention among the specialists and was continued at the TRANSTECH-CAPPADONA company stand, where all the equipment was showcased in the acting region.

The "Present Condition of the Russian Plastic Industry: equipment, technologies, goods, plastic" conference was held within the "Plastec" exhibition. The conference was held by the "Restec" Exhibition Company together with the "International News of Plastic World" magazine.

Plastpolymer JSC, Atlant Inc. Baranovichi Machine-Tool Plant, Scientific & Production Company Bars-2, Perint Inc., Angarsk Polymer Plant JSC, the "International News of Plastic World" magazine and many other organizations have prepared the reports for the conference. About 80 Russian and CIS-countries companies have taken part in the work of the conference.
