Traditional associated FIDexpo events are an appropriate ground for promoting in Russia companies involved in the field of interior business, creating the atmosphere of informal and creative communication of producers and sellers of furniture and interior accessories, designers, and mass media representatives, attract foreign guests to Saint Petersburg and Moscow. The honored guests to the exhibition at different time were designer Denis Santakiara, architect Alberto M. FIDexpo 2005 presents the following specialized projects and events:

• International Design and Architecture Forum INTERACTION
  INTERACTION Forum is a FIDexpo specialized project aimed at developing modern design ideas in Russia. It is a platform for discussions on acute design issues, presentations of new projects and latest achievements in the domain of advanced technologies and materials. The forum is aimed at designers and architects, manufacturers and sellers of furniture and interior accessories, builders, corporate consumers of interior services, representatives of state authorities. The program of the forum includes conferences, seminars and roundtable meetings dedicated to urgent design issues with participation of leading Russian and foreign designers, presentation seminars of companies specialized in the production of interior goods and services.
  
  
• Contemporary Design Gallery
  Contemporary Design Gallery is a specialized section of FIDexpo showcasing brilliant samples and design trends. The Gallery showcases author design samples created by Russian and foreign specialists. Specialized expositions at Modern Design Gallery:

• Interior Design Contest FIDexpo Award
  A traditional interior design contest "FIDexpo Award" is an objective award given to FIDExpo exhibitors by a professional advisory board for their merits in the development and promotion of space design, furniture and interior items.
