CHEMICAL NANOTECHNOLOGIES
AND FUNCTIONAL NANOMATERIALS
One of the modern determinative tendencies of high technologies
is miniaturization of target quantum-well products. They are produced
from specially processed raw materials used for manufacture of new age
materials and goods.
The conference is devoted to one of the priority directions
of modern chemistry which are derivation and application of nanomaterials
for various purposes.
Chemical aspects occupy the significant position in nanotechnology
development. Pure physical technologies reached their high concerning
the materials quality and equipment capacities. Principally new qualities
of materials and goods, especially of quantum-well artificial structures,
can not be received without precision chemical synthesis.
Nanotechnology allows creation of hardphase nanomaterials
with the unique practical characteristics (nanoelemental basis of electronics,
heterogenic membrane catalysts, sorbents, nanoceramics, superdispersed
extenders of composite materials, polymers, chemical sensors, various
kinds of non-organic and organic nanocovers etc.) for most branches of
modern industry.
Main Topics of the Conference-2003:
- Methods of nanostructures generation and identification
- Sorption and catalytically active nanomaterials
- Nanocomposites, nanoceramics for various branches of industry
- Nanoelectronics

QUALITY OF POLYMERIC
MATERIALS AND GOODS
Annual conferences feature the problems of polymeric materials
quality along with the topical questions of competitiveness of domestic
polymeric materials and goods at the internal and external markets.
Conferences include constant participation of manufacturers
and customers of polymeric raw materials and goods, developers and investigators
of materials and goods, specialists in production quality assessment and
organization of quality systems in the manufactures. Totally the conference
receives representatives of more than 80 companies from various regions.
While the proceedings, a special collective center of analysis and quality
problems solutions was formed.
Taking in consideration the urgency of regarded problems
the Conference - 2003 is held with the support of Ministry of Industry,
Science and Technologies of RF, Gosstandart of RF, St.Petersburg Administration,
a range of Institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences, etc.
The main objectives of the Conference-2003 are assistance
to the increase of polymeric production competitiveness, enlargement of
consumer market, experience exchange and consolidation of corporate efforts
and interests.
Main Topics of the Conference-2003:
- State of Russian consumer market of polymeric materials and goods
- Modern manufacture systems of polymeric production quality control
- Particularities of price formation for polymeric production in Russia
- Economic, technical and social-psychological obstacles of competitive
quality level of polymeric materials and goods in Russia
- Standards of polymeric materials, control means and methods; modern
standardization objectives: technical regulations and standards in accordance
with the Federal law "On technical regulation" from 27 December
2002.
- Certification problems of manufacture and technological processes.
- Modern scientific, manufacture and instrumental methods and means
of in-coming control of raw materials quality and out-going control
of polymeric goods quality; requirements of metrological attestation
of methods and means of quality control
- Investments and investment projects in polymeric materials and goods
industry
- Consumer claims to the quality of Russian polymeric materials
The conference-2003 supposes active participation of foreign specialists,
members of European Department of International Society of Plastic Engineers
(SPE) and Russian SPE section.
CHAIRMAN:
Vladimir A. Braginsky, Chairman of the Board of Interregional public
organization of engineers in plastics manufacture, processing and application
(IP SPE), corresponding member of St. Petersburg Engineer Academy, PhD
of technical sciences
